Mental health workshops for international students from Latin America: “Mi Aqui y Mi Ahora en Melbourne”
This community project was sponsored by Refuge of Hope – Latin American Immigrants and Students Program.

This project consisted of a series of 5 workshops for International Students from Latin America who had arrived in Australia within the last 6 months.

The main purpose of these workshops was to provide a safe space where international students can feel they have time for themselves to discuss common issues that are impacting on their lives in their native language, such as homesickness, culture shock, day-to-day challenges and working towards a better understanding of how to cope with the emotions attached to them.
